Terms of Service

Agreeing to these terms
These terms are between you and [Company or legal name], [Registered address]. By using OddCinema you agree to them and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Who can use OddCinema
You must be at least 13, and old enough in your country to use online services without parental consent. You must be an adult, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to buy coins. You must be an adult to earn money as a creator.
Your account
Keep your login details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for what happens on it. You can delete it at any time in Account.
Watching
We give you a personal, non-commercial right to watch series on OddCinema. Please don’t copy, download, resell or redistribute them, or get around locks and other protections.
Many series are made with AI tools. They are fiction, and any resemblance to real people or events is not a statement of fact.
Coins
- Coins unlock episodes. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not a deposit.
- The price is shown before you unlock an episode. Once unlocked, it stays available to you unless we have to remove it, for example for legal reasons or because it breaks these terms. A creator deleting an episode doesn’t remove your access, but a takedown does.
- Purchases are final once coins are delivered, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. Coin purchases aren’t open yet, and more details will be shown at checkout.
- Coins left in your wallet are lost when you delete your account.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed, we may remove the related coins, and your wallet may show an amount owed.
Creators
- You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, show and promote it on OddCinema. The licence ends when you remove it, except for episodes people have already bought and copies we must keep by law.
- You confirm you have all the rights needed for your content, including anything made with AI tools, and any real person’s name, voice or likeness.
- You’re responsible for everything you publish, however it was made. That includes checking that the licence for each AI tool and custom model allows the way you use it. These rules apply to generated content in the same way as filmed content.
- Our creator docs explain how we apply these terms. If the two disagree, these terms apply.
- You earn 70% of the value of coins spent on your episodes, at the coin value shown in Studio. Earnings become available after 30 days, and the minimum payout is $50.
- Payout requests aren’t open yet. When they are, we may adjust earnings for refunds, disputes or breaches of these terms. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Rules
Don’t upload or do anything that:
- sexualises anyone under 18 or anyone who appears to be under 18, in any form. This includes fictional, animated and AI-generated characters, whatever age they are said to be;
- is pornographic, including explicit sex acts, visible genitals, or nudity meant to arouse;
- harasses, threatens or promotes hatred or violence against people;
- uses a real person’s recognisable face, voice, name or likeness without permission, including through lookalikes, face swaps, voice clones or models trained on them. This covers people who have died, where their rights still apply;
- shows a real person in a sexual way without their consent, or makes it look like they said or did something they didn’t;
- infringes someone else’s rights, for example by using existing characters, stories, footage or music without permission, even if it’s renamed, restyled, credited or free to watch;
- presents generated video as real news, events or footage, or misleads people about what a series is;
- breaks the law;
- attacks, scrapes or overloads the service, or manipulates views, ratings or earnings.
We may remove content, give your account a strike, limit features, withhold earnings connected to a breach, or close accounts that break these terms. Strikes appear in Studio, and three active strikes can lead to your account being limited or closed. Taken-down content can’t be watched by anyone but its creator, including viewers who bought it. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.
Where we can, we’ll tell you why we acted, and you can appeal through Support.
If we find content that sexualises minors, we remove it, close the account and withhold its earnings, and we report it to the authorities or organisations such as NCMEC where the law requires. An appeal won’t restore that content.
Reporting content
To report content that breaks these rules, use the Report button on the series or episode. If content uses your work without permission, send a takedown request. We may share what was claimed with the creator so they can respond. You can also email [privacy@your-domain].
The service
We work to keep OddCinema running, but it may change or be unavailable at times. We provide it as it is, and we don’t guarantee that any series will stay available.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months and $50. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that can’t be waived, or our liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes before they apply. If you keep using OddCinema after that, the new terms apply. These terms are governed by the laws of [country or state], and you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
